What should I wear?
For headshot photography, it is best to wear something neatly pressed. I recommend wearing solid colors and steering clear of anything with stripes or loud patterns. Feel free to bring outfit choices or even outfit changes. I will give my recommendations as to what outfits would achieve the best results in your headshot photoshoot.
Do you offer hair and makeup?
Yes, our makeup artist can either travel to you or meet you in the studio depending on your preference. While many clients are concerned about looking ‘overdone’ rest assured that our makeup artist can provide a full range of makeup that compliments your image.
How do I pose for my headshot?
I will guide you and make this a very easy, comfortable and fun experience :). Whether it be a personal branding session or a corporate headshot used for a LinkedIn profile, I will ensure that your pose is comfortable and natural and fits your portrait needs. During the session, I will also give you headshot tips to achieve the best images possible.
What should I expect from my headshot session?
Prior to your session, we will discuss the number of outfit changes and backgrounds that work best for your headshot. Currently we have white, black and grey backgrounds. Custom backgrounds can be ordered prior to your session.
Depending on outfit changes you can expect that your basic portrait session to take about 20 minutes. Following the shoot, we will review the images and narrow them down to the photos that you like the best. From here we will work together to choose final photos so I can then retouch them to your liking.
What is the difference between a Basic Headshot Session and a Branding Session?
A basic headshot session is for a client that needs 1 or 2 images- for example, a corporate headshot, business headshot, LinkedIn Profile photo etc. Typically this will only have one background and one shirt change. The aim is to create one good headshot.
A branding session is created for an interior designer, a realtor or someone who wants images for various purposes. We shoot in the studio and directly outside my Stamford studio. You can be photographed in three different outfits.
Do you offer actor headshots?
Yes. I will work with you to create a variety of poses whether generic or specific for a role. I can also design and print comp. cards as needed.
Do you offer Medical Residency headshots for ERAS?
Yes, I offer Medical Residency Headshots for Electronic Residency Application Service. I will follow the Application requirements and you will receive a full resolution digital file for your personal needs as well the the file size needed for the application- https://students-residents.aamc.org/applying-residencies-eras/documents-eras-residency-applicants.
Do you offer graduation photos and High School senior portraits?
Yes, I am recommended by many schools in the area when you would like a photo for the yearbook. I can shoot the traditional photo to match your schools yearbook or an outdoor senior portrait session. Please visit the High School Senior Photography page here for more information.
Do you charge a discount for large group headshots?
Please call if you are looking to set up an in house headshot day for your office. I can create a custom pricing package for a group shot.
Can you photograph my entire company?
I have photographed groups as large as 650 people for Fortune 400 companies. I often shoot a company photo during a corporate group outing but I am happy to come to you as well.
